Depending on
weather and the abilities of the student, training lasts for
a minimum of three days and includes:

Familiarization of motor and wing
-
Ground handling, i.e. kiting, forward and reverse
launches
-
Ground class - understanding the sky, the in-flight
mechanics of powered paragliding, in-flight protocol,
safety rules, and understanding FAR 103
-
Supervised motor solos with radio contact as pilot
demonstrates basic flying skills
-
Training is conducted at several venues in the Houston
area.
