Are
you ready? Personal flight is now safe, affordable,

Just
imagine. In a few short weeks you could be in the air, flying your
own foot launched aircraft, at only a fraction of the cost it takes
to fly other forms of aviation. Powered paragliding is the
safest, cheapest, and least complicated way for you to experience
the thrill of flight. People from all walks of life and all
age groups are experiencing this unbelievable sport. And now
is the best time to get into powered paragliding because of the
incredible advances in equipment over the last few years.
Andy McAvin, owner and operator of TX FLYSPORTS, has flown for close to two thousand hours in the past 10 years and trained over 200 students from all over the world. He is one of the most experienced instructors in the sport. Combining the latest and most effective teaching methods such as tandem instruction, and simulator work Andy will get you in the air safely and enjoyably. How long will it take? That depends on a list of variables including weather, students availability, student's fitness level and their ability to learn. In other words, as long as it takes. Sometimes 4 or 5 sessions, and sometimes 4 or 5 weeks. Beware of out-of-town instructors or schools that claim they can 'train' you in one weekend. They may be able to get you in the air but that does not mean that you will be able to fly safely and confidently on your own once they leave.
Paragliding is not a sport for the super
athlete or the brainless adolescent. Paragliding has people as young
and 9 and as old as 90! The modern sport of paragliding offers the
easiest, safest access to personal, flight available . .

TX FLYSPORTS is now featuring the new R220 on it's Fantom units. This is a seriously kick-ass powerful motor! And it's now available with electric start. For larger pilots and trike pilots this is great choice.
Of course, for not so large pilots and those who prefer a clutch the R120 is still a great choice too. And soon, the R120 and R80 from HE Paramotores will be available with belt drive and without a gear box, which means these motors will be lighter, quieter, and even more powerful.
Mac Para has come out with a new glider, the Envy. This is a dhv 2 wing but came very close during certification to being a dhv 1-2. It is an excellent cross country and thermaling glider, but works well with motor. For those pilots that are looking for high efficiency as well as stability, the Envy is an excellent choice.
With so many pilots expressing interest in reflex style gliders Mac Para has decided to introduce their own version. The prototype is now being tested, which means that the wing should be offered to the public some time this summer. The airfoil design for this new wing is based on the Envy, which means it will be targeted to the more experienced pilots.
